Hi - I'm a Mac user and musician. I'm thinking of switching to Linux with my next laptop, and am trying to figure out if I can use my audio interfaces, and what software is really useable. What are people using for audio/MIDI interfaces, and what software do you use - DAW, plugins, softsynths, etc.?
It seems like there is as much debugging and even coding involved with doing music on a Linux machine as there is actual music production. Does anyone have a setup that just works?
