Tx David, for the hint. Indeed, this seems to be what I'm looking for. Alas, in ubuntu 8.10 x96_64 clam, annotator, etc. neither are in the genuine repos nor installable from the developer's link as 3rd party repo. So I tried to compile them from sources. I'm not experienced with this, especially
