I found the solution to be to use Time out in HTTconnection. For which I
found the code too.
Regarding the Ubuntu carrying both sugar-0.88 and sugar-0.90, I think we
have mistakenly used the packages which doesn't contain the Conflicts and
Replaces.

After complaints from users, I have removed all the -0.90 (faulty) packages
from PPA.
I am starting a fresh with the newer versions of Sugar Packages.
* Previously I started with presence service but found to be stuck with
Dependency tree.

I finally found the source code in schoolserver.py at jarabe/desktop.
I was not looking at the file favoritesview.py correctly previously. The
'import ... schoolserver' clearly stated what I wanted. My bad!

Lately, there has been a good discussion on the fullscreen bug at Launchpad.

place exactly at the resolution : 800x600.

I did the changes as you mentioned above. Also added my ITP Bug No. in the
debian/changelog.
The problem that I was facing got fixed I guess.
I first pulled in your changes from repository then ran 'git commit -a'
Then I was able to push my changes
