Simon, Vista needs to handle XP's boot once it is installed. Booting XP directly will give you an NTDLR error. Your GRUB should be able to boot Linux, then boot the Windows bootloader. From the Windows bootloader you should be able to boot XP or Vista. It seems to be a problem with the Vista
