I have my own domain name, and a hosted Exchange service so email, contacts,
tasks and calendar sync seamlessly with my phone, kindle and Windows laptop.
I'm really struggling to find software on Ubuntu that will do the same.
Can anyone suggest anything I could look at or do to enable me to use Ub
Given the revelations about PRISM, I now use an encrypted cloud service, but am
concerned about using the usual suspects for email.
Does anyone have any thoughts about a free or minimal cost secure email? (Must
support IMAP).

I think you'll find that mbox files ARE readable in a text editor - because
that's what mbox files are. Text files.
