ah, interesting, this is new information. A fresh install of Lucid does not show grub at all unless you hold shift, although thinking about it it might have to for dual boot setups. At the top of the grub screen it should list the version number of grub. Does it start with 1.98? Alan.

It was everything, it affected the Router. I couldnt get a connection. I think it might have been something to do with the VM Network connector. I have a feeling it changd the IP address, and I also think it might have taken over the connection itself and made it default. I had no idea how to fix
