I'd go for a phone/line rental/broadband deal such as TalkTalk or Pipex Homecall. Generally you get cheaper broadband if it's bundled in with something else -- Sky is the cheapest of all, at £0, but you need to get her a satellite dish to qualify for the ADSL... changing phone supplier is probably

Hi is anybody aware of a UK broadband supplier that has a product to replace a standard dialup ? I'm building a new desktop for my mum and she doesn't have broadband. I'm going to set her up to use dialup but this is not going to be ideal. What would be a better solution would be a low cost, ADS
