Pleased to meet you Pete. Ubuntu is not that awkward to use, if your used to something as complex as Gentoo. However some of the nuances can be more confusing for linux users than newcomers. Once you get over these minor differences you find that there is nothing like it. Ubuntu Rocks, Feisty Roc

Hi people, I just thought I'd say hi to y'all. I'm a long-time Linux user (mainly Gentoo and SUSE), based in Birmingham (and invovled in the LUG there), but new to *buntu... I'm a big KDE fan, so got Kubuntu Feisy (last RC, at least) running quite happily and I have to say that I'm impressed.
