I've installed the nvidia binary driver and vdpau library from the
repository and that was pretty much it. I put a couple of tweaks in my
mplayer config to make it buffer and force it to use

Show off :p
-Matt Daubne
it should work with a 40" screen. it's the resolution size that matters not
the physical size.
as long as the screen and box can display the same resolution it should be
fine.

The output is configurable with pulseaudio. Click the speaker icon in
the notification area, choose Sound Preferences, click the output tab,
click the drop down next
Since it's the BIOS, think you have to wait till you get hands on the box to
check.

The revo
What settings are in the BIOS for audio? there should be an option (If it's
anything like my Zotac ION board) for switching onboard audio between
"internal codec, external codec, internal+external codec". To get HDMI Audio
select "internal codec" that uses the HDMI for sound output.
