I've got an Nvidia GeForce4 MMX440, which worked OK until 8.10, when special effects stopped. I tried the new driver but had problems, so I've managed without special effects. I was using 96.45.07 - I saw that .09 was supposed to be OK, and it's in the "normal" repositories (ie not beta, or develop
