I appreciate you're not really in the market for pure SIP phones, but
if you change your mind the call quality is phenominal on the Polycom
range - we use them in an office environment and they're excellent

Hi
Why not get a ATA, that way you can plug in your existing phone(s) and
have both your landline and Sipgate account on the same handset. This
is extremely family friendly, I know as our sales people who work from
home can manage with them. BTW I am the CTO for a ITSP.

rather than USB. Or, failing that, what about an adaptor like this
and just use a normal phone??

dirty' solution, but I should have expected the responses I got.
SIP isn't our main phone option - we just use it on those occasions when
Virgin Media charge us for calls. I'm happy to use the soft phone, but
my wife would prefer
