Two things wrong with my installation... a. since I tried to change screen resolution system gets to desktop then goes black and reverts to login screen... have to use "Failsafe Gnome" to get into system. b. originally installed "Linux Mint" so have all their horrible boot screens rather than Ubuntu
Thinking I could fix both of these by booting into Live CD and then copying files off there... so, which files would it be that I need to copy to get both back as they should be? Thanks in advance, Sean
