I've just installed Thunderbird 8 on my Ubunto 10 desktop.
I can point the Thunderbird entry in the main menu at the new T'bird
startup file (which I've manually installed in
/usr/local/bin/thunderbird... and it seems to work ok)
But the main menu doesnm't show the new icon and I can't see
