Ok tried everything and the system still hangs when I load the Nvidia driver. Looks like the card may be faulty, will try with a newer card when I remove it from another system. (Also tried with xmbc live cd and the nvidia driver there, same issue) -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com
