Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me in getting my suspend-on-lid-close to work on my Thinkpad x121e. This is a new piece of hardware and there doesn't appear to be much on the web for solving it the problem. When i close the lid, the machine seems to suspend, but when i open it i

No. Changing the SATA didn't seem to do anything. Screen still wouldn't resume when i opened the lid. On the whole, i think the machine is good. Its certainly performs better than the ancient one i had before this - Asus ARP6. That said, the hardware doesn't seem to be quite so well

Kris: Someone must have worked it out because there is one of these machines available with Ubuntu 10.10(?) pre-installed. Yes, i think i remember reading that pre-installed machines have slightly different set-ups. Sounds like something to do with the graphics, what card does your machine
