Like I said yesterday, it's a 3rd party kernel module that has to be installed, It is in the Ubuntu universe repo, but it's a dkms module, so you'll likely have to manually grab the packages for that as well as the module. Here's the module:

I'm afraid it's not immediately clear to me how to proceed with Ubiquity. I can tell you the following: I used a USB drive with Kubuntu 22.04.1 to make the install. The install went smoothly, and I did choose the option to install third-party software, but as the installer never made a wifi
