I’m testing webbrowser-app with a local build of oxide master, and I’m seeing a
regression in the find-in-page functionality.
1) If I browse to e.g. http://start.ubuntu.com, activate find-in-page and
search for "ubuntu", I get 3 results, and the first one is highlighted

I have verified that with a custom UA string override for mobile.nytimes.com,
the issue goes away.
I used an iphone UA string:

I see what’s happening: when
OxideQQuickWebViewPrivate::OnEditingCapabilitiesChanged() is initially
called, the value of the edit flags stored by the oxide webview is
correct (64 == SelectAll), but to retrieve the new value
OxideQQuickWebView::editingCapabilities() is called, and at that point

editingCapabilities (at Component.onCompleted) and to print the new
value whenever it changes. This is what I’m seeing:

I’m not seeing the high memory usage any longer, so that issue appears to be
fixed.
Of interest: I tested on three different devices:
- M10: WebGL not supported
- E4.5: rendering very slow and buggy
- MX4: rendering smooth and games are playable
