What distribution? What package version? Need alot more info here...
Note that AOA-D150's do not have a multitouch capable touchpads, but you
can enable fake multitouch for it. The method to do so varies greatly
depending on your xserver-xorg-input-synaptics version though. SHMConfig
is outdated, a

Hi there.
I have *exactly* the opposite problem: I'm using the most up-to-date
karmic possible, I have a Dell Latitude D520 and I want to use the
touchpad with tapping, but I have not succeded with using "gnome-mouse-
properties" or with "gpointing-device-settings".
