(xserver-xorg-video-openchrome-0.2.903+svn758-0ubuntu1) is still

I could not reproduce it predictably. But just now I experienced
it. I was running OpenOffice to edit a document. Kmail and Firefox
were open during this time. The display froze and ctrl+alt+Fx did
not work. I tried F1 through F12. The caps key also did not work
(no LED). Then I had to reboot
For me the freezes have not appeared yet. It's a great improvement since
the system froze seconds after the gdm login when using the latest
xserver-xorg-video-intel driver (and I was forced to use the
ubuntu-x-swat/x-retro 2.4 ppa driver just to be able to work... until

of dual monitors gdm is choosing an 800 x 600 mode rather than a 1024 x
