What size and type of monitor are you using? I have experienced this
with the daily live-cd from yesterday, on my 18.4 inch LCD laptop

I have two 19 LCD monitors attached by VGA (with DVI adaptors). I tried
to boot into the daily live as well, and got the same problem I was
having with the desktop, just ending up with a blank screen.
I tried to re-install the drivers using Hardware Drivers, and was then
