Title:
Resizing Konsole crashes the whole system
7-after a left click at trash can icon position-trash attempts opening-
momentary window display leaves display black areas-IMG_4913.JPG
a left click in the area of where the trash can is expected to be leads
to a fleeting display of a window, supposedly trash, and then the lower
panel 'opening'
7a-movie of left clicks on trash opening item in lower panel-
MVI_4914.AVI
short video showing momentary windows display when clicking the lower
panel opening item (minimise/resize)
** Attachment added: 7a-movie of left clicks on trash opening item in lower
panel-MVI_4914.AVI
8-after first ctrl alt F1-normal terminal-THEN ctrl alt F7-IMG_4915.JPG
after a sequence of actions.
first I used ctrl alt F1 to get a virtual terminal. Looked normal
THEN I reverted the display by using ctrl alt F7 and this appeared (!)
(dark band across screen is an exposure artefact)
**
Before photo (8) was taken, the first keyboard action I tried was the requested
alt F2
however, there was no response. I then proceeded to use
ctrl alt F1
and
ctrl alt F7
as mentioned in (8)
