i can, however, tell you, that in the time i was experiencing this

Medium was the worst. Barely any drop in temperature, and the performance drops
down considerably.
Surprisingly, ATI manages to pull it off, despite being known for crappy
drivers. I get good battery life as well as good graphics performance.

The system has just displayed the error message, it didn't lock up. I haven't
experienced this bug in Maverick.
Also, the S-video output was simply black screen, though the desktop got wider

I remember that when I met this problem, I tried to switch my desktop
environment from Gnome to LXDE with no 3D effect. It's confirmed the
lockup also happened. PPA driver not test yet, but I will try it later.

I had reported more than 5 bug reports of this issue ( I don't actually

Thanks Bryce. I set xdiagnose flags extra graphics debug ON, disable
