with an afaics unrelated oops in azx_interrupt in the snd_hda_intel
driver. The last 3 times there were oops'es which didn't manage to get
sufficiently logged on the tty to see where they were (the computer

Unity-2D no problem. Ubuntu start or BFB or Dash or whatever you call
it works, no xorg hang.
From a user standpoint this xorg hang feels like Compiz.

I can confirm this with my GT 520 card, but when I deactivate the
driver, reboot, activate again, and reboot again, everything seems to
work fine again, even though Additional Drivers reports that driver is
activated but currently not in use. Hopefully this will last.

Confirmed GT 520. But reboot after deactivating and activating the
driver again, and although it reports the same thing, it appears to be
using the proprietary driver. So far so good, hope this thing lasts.
