Just found out, if I type the following:
sudo echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/\:02\:00.0/remove
sudo echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan
(sudo service lightdm start)
lightdm starts fine
But I can't figure out how to make it work automatically.

After I upgraded to ubuntu 11.04 I got problem with xorg.
Before the upgrade I had never problem with the graphic cart.
The proprietary driver of my graphic cart (GeForce 8400GS) is activated but not
in use.
The screen freeze or went black more often when I watch a video.

Hi,
after system upgrade to Ubuntu oneiric, my mouse and keyboard are note working
anymore. This is kind of disturbing, as I can't login. Currently my workaround
was to create a /etc/X11/xorg.conf with Option "AutoAddDevices"
"false"
so I can at least use keyboard
