I have a Microsoft PS/2 mouse with track wheel. After upgrading from
Ubuntu 9.10 to Lubuntu 11.10, I had to apply the evdev Emulate3Buttons
change to /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ to get the middle button back.

your message #55. When trying to install them Ubuntu claims that there
already are newer versions installed and refuses to continue. When using
Synaptic for removing the ...7.5 versions the tool picks up that long a

Logged in today to see the good 'ol gnome icon set appear on unity.
This is a fully u-t-d Natty 11.04 with Unity only. This bug is sporadic
and infrequent for me, but definitely exists.

After today's updates, even the second monitor is activated. The
result is that error appears in the workspace switch!

This is the Ubuntu fglrx driver, not the latest by AMD. With this driver
Gnome shell does not work. You have to compile manually the AMD website
driver and install it over an existing fglrx. Please see the wiki pages
how to do this.

Mouse / touchpad unable to click, seems to be stuck in button
I get the same crash on Ubuntu 11.10, I booted from the release LiveCD
and it booted into Ubuntu 2D, then the report a bug window appeared for
reporting the crash.

locking the screen and pressing the Switch User button on the unlock
screen dialog causes the screen to flash several times (similar to what
occurs when changing monitor resolution), then going blank. Moving
Seems the 3d screensaver was to blame. After configuring the system to
not launch any screensaver but just put the monitor to sleep the system
didn't show the problem anymore.
My guess is there is a bug in the video driver that shows when the 3d
section of the video card is used.

But I get this:
[Error]A previous installation of fglrx driver detected to be loaded.
User must uninstall existing fglrx driver
or run install with force option.
Forcing the installation is not recommended.
I also tried to
