Firefox 3.5 and up renders certain graphics with wrong colors
Currently I'm running the monitor directly attached via HP-HDMI-cable.
HDMI-DVI-cables make things worse (also tried cables with gold-plated
plugs). Mainboard (most current BIOS) and HDD of the Notebook have been
replaced in April, RAM (3GB - 4GB) at installation of Oneiric (64 bit)
in November (I

Martin, I have actually experienced both of these bugs. I have had the
touchpad stop responding with two syndaemons. What I've been doing to
fix it is kill the one with the higher PID and then run synclient
touchpadoff=0. This has happened under Unity and GNOME 3.

In Unity, (11.10, nVidia graphics card), when using multiple
applications simultaneously, for example: Chrome, LibreOffice Calc, and
Shutter, maximized windows often show nothing but blank white screen.

idea when it will occur next. One time I did not see the bug for more

At 1680x1050 everything works fine, but at monitor-native FullHD-

Brushing right-edge of trackpad causes
Daniel, I resetted unity (--reset) and tried both your compiz and unity
packages (vv7 and vv5 respectively).
The combination of both solved my performance problems almost completely,
putting unity on par with gnome-shell.
However, it seems to me that performance is still a little better when
FWIW, I had given up on the onboard Intel graphics that I was using when
I reported the bug, and got an external Nvidia card using the
proprietary driver.
