My System76 Lemur just started doing this in the last week. Tech support
advised me to use the suspend key before closing thelid, rather than
just closing the lid. I will see if that has any affect.

Since upgrading to Quantal, my Thinkpad T510 will not come out of the
screensaver blank screen.
I'm not sure if it's related to dpms or not, as I can't reproduce this
by locking the screen manually for a few seconds, or by turning dpms on

launcher was using the mouse pointer position, now we use the Xorg

to me it seems that this got worse since about a week ago. For me this
