Where is the 3.7.x kernel coming from? Have you enabled the -proposed
repo? If you want to use a really recent kernel, you'll probably need a

I belong to group of people that can solve the problem by doing sudo
pkill compiz-decorator and pkill -9 compiz.
I first upgraded to Linux Kernel 3.6.10 without any change (2-3 crash
everyday)
Than I upgraded again to linux Kernel 3.7.0-030700-generic...and I'm running it

My system is up to date but I can report now that it is fixed for me
