Shortly afterwards I hear the login noise and when I open the lid I've been

I don't have gnome-screensaver installed as I thought it might be part of the

I have tried to run it manually. It needs it just once after each reboot.
You can automate it by putting in rc.local.
In any case, after you run it once, you will get the message you told
me, but you will not get the crash on the next reboot (at least this
is the behaviour in my computer)

Ah yes, the one that doesn't work is 1.6.99 in the xorg-edgers ppa and
the one that works is inside the ubuntu repo's...

Yes, computer crashes every second time it boots. It seems like the command
above did not change anything.
I've placed it in /etc/rc.local. Is that correct. Am I supposed to place it
anywehere else or run mannually?

while in the i386 version, it is actually a symlink to
../libdrm2/changelog.Debian.gz (which is NOT contained in the package).

Newer Xephyr versions don't add any external extensions. The version
shipped in Precise had GLX extension activated unconditionally but now
it looks like Xephyr does not have any code to run external extension
initialization. Specifying +extension GLX won't help because the code
that actually loads
