chromium tabs is just one instance where the GPU stutters, but it is not

After updates on my Raring Ringtail install a couple days ago, Ubuntu no
longer displays at my laptop's real resolution of 1366x768 anymore. It
displays instead in a square 1024x768 box in the center of my screen
instead, with black rectangles on either side of the screen.

Accepted libxrandr into precise-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at
http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libxrandr/2:1.3.2-2ubuntu0.1 in a
few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See
