My internet runs just fine. I'm using Ubuntu-gnome 13.04. Before I used
to use Ubuntu 12.04, however due to speed problems I shifted to Ubuntu-
Gnome 13.04. I'm able to view some specific websites like

Anyway, official support for Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx on the desktop
and for all editions of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat has ended. If
this issue is still occurring on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail please

Public bug reported:
When i connect another display to my laptop (VGA port) without the mirror
screens option and I close the laptop's lid, I expect Ubuntu to detect that
there is an available monitor connected and use it as the main screen, but
instead it cuts out the signal on the VGA port.
The following appears to have fixed the issue. I've been running it for
~ 6 hours now.
$ uname -r

Same issue with HP envy6 1016TX. My VGA chip is Radeon HD 7670M.
I tried the both ati official driver
amd-driver-installer-catalyst-13-4-x86.x86-64.run and fglrx in apt source,
only wallpaper and pointer seems working.
The same driver on quantal works perfect.
