Notify OSD bubbles flicker badly with Hedgewars full-screen
I've put that in and am trying it. Thanks. For the record, gdm is not
istalled in Trusty, so you need to do sudo apt-get install gdm
In my case, I was given the option to make gdm the default during installation.
If not, you need to edit /etc/X11/default-display-manager after installing gdm
The problem has been narrowed down to when the headset is actually
charging - either through to the computer's USB ports or via a wall-
socket charger (any micro-USB charger with 0.5A output will suffice).
When the headset is unplugged (i.e. fully wireless), everything works
fine. But when the

Tests with 3:1~ppa5, the previous two problems are now gone. This new
one appeared now, presumably due to some multi-arch confusion? I tested
lts-{quantal,raring,saucy} → trusty, same error on all of them:

enter
sudo apt-get install fglrx=2:8.960-0ubuntu1
