Technically, Xorg isn't completely freezing. It will just suddenly
start losing mouse events. I normally use the Synaptics touchpad and it
seems these have a history of problems. Once I start losing events, I
usually can't click on anyth

I have to correct myself. Kernel 3.7.10 does not solve the issues with
nouveau. The only difference is: it does not always freeze after resume,
but sometimes it also does. With later kernel version it always freezes.

Using newest utopic my screen flickers to black and back every now and
then during regular use. After a few seconds it comes back. Whenever
this happens I get an error trace in dmesg. All of them are slightly
