I'm agree it for U.14.04, but it's presented and others derivative distribution
(like Mint 17), without any depends with DE! So, I'm attempting to install it

Same problems happens for me with Mobile IntelĀ® GM45 Express Chipset.
There is no need to restart though. Logging out brings the full

Thanks for reporting this The Bright Side, but this issue is much bigger
than darktable.
The fact that clinfo gives a weird error is a good indicator that this
is a very general problem, not related to any user-land programs. The
