I am experiencing the same with Mythbuntu 14.04 and an AMD A10 APU.
Deactivating the autorunning of xfsettingsd fixed the problem.

I'm getting quite frustrated that we cannot get this patch into Compiz
proper due to the silly licensing issue. So what I have done is create

Just the one-finger/two-finger touch are unresponsive. Three-finger
/four-finger touches keep working fine!
I've tried to put a script with the Ctrl+Alt+F6 / Ctrl+Alt+F7 commands
in /etc/pm/sleep.d/, but it won't run after lockscreen unlock. After pm-
suspend command in terminal the

doesn't flicker directly after starting the computer. After a short
moment using it the flickering reappears.

We are disabling rotations in hybrid mode since it's not really
supported (see the pending SRU in LP: #1308515). Also switching to the
guest session will work.
What the Intel+UXA combination should fix is issues with the backlight
i.e. point 1) that you mentioned. I'm not sure about 2).
