On 64bit machine the fglrx installer assume that you /usr/lib64
directory is linked to /usr/lib. I believe this is a bit risky
expecially for those package that are still writing in /usr/lib64.
Last week I have installed yagf from the repository, which I guess
overwrote the
i have the same problem, i fix it adding i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset to
the grub, but when i close the lid of the laptop and open it ( starting
suspend mode and starting the laptop again (after suspend) ) the mouse
stops working so i need to restart and it work again. :/ can i add the
i8042.nomux=1

I recently upgraded from 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS. When my computer goes
into suspend mode and I wake it up Ubuntu does not display the logon
screen. It displays a multi-colored screen and my computer locks up. I
have to power down to get out of the situation. I hope this
