Public bug reported:
I have multiple terminal windows open. I can see a preview of all of
them if I click on the Terminal icon in the launcher.
If I set one of these windows to Always on top, then clicking on the
icon does not show all the previews anymore. Removing the Always on
top flag fixes
Ok, that should be sufficient. The kernel patches for high dotclock
modes was in v3.12, but Xserver support only landed in xorg-
server-1.15.99.901.

Same or nearly the same bug affects me, with Xubuntu 14.04. Graphics
card is GE7300. Thought it might be associated with light-locker
switching VT but removing light-locker makes no difference. Only seems
to happen when computer is left unattended (thus triggering a screensave
situation),

Thanks for testing, the first bug is in apt-get itself, the dependency
resolver to be exact. It's already been reported in some form or
another, doesn't seem like anyone wants to fix it. :/
Second one should be fixed by upgrading synaptiks, third one won't be
fixed.

Despite what appears to be a working radeon driver, I am unable to get
3D acceleration working (or in fact any specific driver support - unable
to change resolution properly either).
If I install the proprietary driver then everything works correctly,

I should add that when I first installed Ubuntu on the same computer, I
had to specify the option nomodeset, otherwise I just got a white
screen. After installation the driver did not work, which is why I tried
the proprietary driver.

I don't think that device is supported by the kernel module or, if it
is, radeon is blacklisted.
Please try the kernel available here:

Relevant Packages: ocl-icd-libopencl1
Applications that wish to use OpenCL encounter a few problems when you
attempt to distribute them.
PROBLEM:
Applications compiled against one implementation of OpenCL
(libOpenCL.so) will not run on a system with another implementation
Minor Problem:
Ubuntu does not have vendor provided OpenCL kernels for AMD/Intel in the
repositories or ones compatible with cpu-only environments (fglrx should
provide amd-opencl-icd, but as of trusty this is not true) -
