HD5500.
It barely worked in Ubuntu 14.04 so here we are on 15.04 beta.
light-locker seems to change video mode, so logging out and logging in again
breaks the desktop.
xscreensaver does
It was a company laptop and I no longer work there so I don't have
access anymore, but I know that it was working correctly with the
release of 15.05.

fine i'll just wait until Wily is released and other users bug reports come in.

I'm having the same symptoms, though I'm getting a different crtc in my
messages and am using the Nvidia driver.
Sometimes closing and reopening the desktop lid will help, sometimes it will
not.
