It seems the problem had existed before in Ubuntu 14.04 and Dell
recommended using proprietary drivers for trackpad. Here is the Dell KB

does *not* work for this problem.
In fact some of the touchpad continues to operate (click, drag while
clicked, double-click, etc.) it's only basic moving the pointer that

I am currently using 15.04 with kernel 3.19.0-61 with no problem. I
have tried 4.30 in 15.04 with no problem. I have only tried 15.10 and
16.04 run from a usb stick but the problem is there in 15.10 with both
kernels 4.2.0-16 and 4.30 and whatever 16.04 had on release. The

It happens always when I open ubuntu-sdk
I think It is a graphics bug of QT library or I don't have a package
installed.

reproducible?
