Hi. I've experienced font distortions all the time when editing within
the new Libreoffice. The distortions go away with redraw by Ctrl+L or
Shift+Ctrl+R . That's extremely annoying, never had that before.
Now I found a solution:

solutions did _not_ work:
* Switch from "rgb" (="subpixel"?) anti-aliasing to "grayscale".
* Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-intel to let the modesetting driver take

I was having a similar problem where all GTK apps were crashing. I ran
strace on one of them and found that the app was seg faulting after it
could not find libGLX_indirect.so.0. I use the proprietary nvidia
drivers, which appear to provide that library, so, as a workaround, I
symlinked the nvidi

Intel Ivybridge Video card, did not resolve the issue with the mouse

preexisting repos and the issue is resolved. I didn't see an update for the

Same thing with Oracle Java 8 btw. So I guess the JDK/JRE used doesn't
make a difference. It's really related to the DRI driver.
