The issue I am having is very similar to this bug:

Depending on what applications are running the apparently random
behavior may increase. Sometimes it is really bad and several times in
one second the system detect
I see this on my ThinkPad x230. I think it also triggers sometimes with
docking/undocking. I did not have this issue on 14.04.

After installing newer Kernel and X the freezing disappeared and the
stylus is working!

I experienced the same bug. I could only scroll horizontally but not
vertically. However, when I connected the keyboard over USB 3 and not
USB 2 everything worked as expected.
