@clel yes under pointer speed I have two sliders Acceleration and Sensitivity. Neither has any effect. BUT I was able to fix it today by removing libinput and installing evdev! Now both sliders work like before and I can increase acceleration. I don't see any problems with the system so you can

@POP So acceleration is not working for you either? Because for me changing of speed or sensitivity (amount of pointer movement for a constant mouse movement) is not working and I think that is even worse. In system settings there is a slider called "pointer speed" which does not work. It used to
