Public bug reported:
Hi,
I have two PCs with AMD hardware: a desktop with AMD A10-7800 and a laptop with
AMD A10-7300, so both with AMD Kaveri APUs.
The operating system is Ubuntu 17.10 x64 both on the desktop and on the laptop.
The good news is that the driver built into Ubuntu works fine. I
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I'm running 16.04 now, the bug still exists. Also, when I press ctrl-L,
the screens do go to sleep, but then after half an hour, switch back on
again and stay on for the rest of the night.

Integrate "extra buttons" in mouse properties
To manage
This bug still not fixed, adding a core dump and this might have
relations to bug #1743732 because if you turn the monitor off or lock
the screen, everything in that session are lost. Daniel van Vugt asked
to move that bug to private.
