Steam client tries to install a set of i386 libraries. One of them is
libgl1-mesa-dri:i386.
But since upgrade to Ubuntu 18.10 this package got broken dependency and thus

$ sudo apt-get purge vdpauinfo
$ sudo apt-get purge i965-va-driver
$ sudo apt-get purge libvdpau-va-gl1
