Additionally, I noticed this issue on Linuxmint 20 (Ulayana) release installed on a Lenovo T580 Thinkpad. The displays attached via USB3.0 (dell D3100) totally become stuttery and unusable. The Xserver fix provided by DisplayLink makes it useable (https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=310) (
