I've checked and it's true that working, but not fully. The secondary mouse click doesn't work if I press the right bottom corner of the touchpad (registers primary mouse click). Rotation, pitching, swipe with 3/4 fingers doesn't seem to work either. ** Attachment added: "evtest"

In Ubuntu-Budgie the above trick doesn't solve the problem. I notice that Ubuntu Desktop is using gdm3 whereas Ubuntu Budgie is using lightdm. They are calling xorg with different arguments. So I reconfigured Budgie for gdm3 and, after creating the monitor.xml file, the flicker is gone. I hope,

Have to add to the above: after first login, I rearranged the screens using the Display Settings. That creates a file ~/.config/monitors.xml. That file does some magic in preventing the flickering. However, it becomes effective only after logging out and logging in again, so I was mislead when
