*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1956126 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956126
** Description changed: - xorg, a required dependency of ubuntu-desktop and ubuntu-desktop-minimal - requires the package xorg-docs-core. Currently Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy - defaults to Wayland. These docs are ancient and now most people won't - even be using X11, much less this documentation. Why is x11-docs-core - going to be required in April of 2022? + xorg requires the package xorg-docs-core. Wayland is the default. Why is + documentation required for something that isn't the default? ** Tags added: noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956127 Title: xorg metapackage requires xorg-docs-core To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1956127/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
