glasen intel driver crashes in i845. But intel driver 2.9.1 works
without any crash with oneiric back-ported kernel. But it can not play
video. So pls add xv support in kms mode to this driver for i845. pls
give support to i845. Many people in world uses this hardware.linux does
not give support to

xserver xorg video intel 2.9.1 is very stable in i845 with oneiric

I resolved this issue completely by installing kernel 3.0.0.12 from kernel ppa
and enabling KMS in Lucid.I enabled glasen ppa and update all packages except
intel driver from this ppa. I installed only intel driver from x update ppa.
thus i completely solved this.

In oneiric, intel driver is enabled. but gpu lockups are frequently
occurring in i845. Is there any patch available for i845? pls help me.
