Title:
xrandr detects too many displays
To manage
$ sudo aptitude show steam64
Package: steam64
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 1.0.0.28
Priority: optional
Section: games
Maintainer: Valve Corporation li...@steampowered.com
Architecture: amd64
Uncompressed Size: 27.6 k
Depends: steam (= 1.0.0.28),
Now it appears that steam:i386 package actually depends on libgl1-mesa-
dri package, which is related to xserver-xorg-video-intel. And it
appears completely as wrong, unmentioned dependency in steam:i386
package.
** Package changed: xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-quantal (Ubuntu) =
mesa (Ubuntu)
Public bug reported:
Installing steam/steam64 removes xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-quantal and vice
versa.
To use steam we need to use the older xserver-xorg-video-intel package
$ sudo aptitude show xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-quantal
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-quantal
State: not
