To troubleshoot, either - try to open inkscape doing "DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0 inkscape" if tcp connections to X are allowed - ssh -X y...@localhost , and start inkscape. You are going to experience the trouble. I will gladly provide any other information needed to troubleshoot if you tell me more a
